Tom Petty Digital Campaign

Viral game to support the release of the ‘Damn The Torpedos’ Deluxe Edition Boxset from Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers.

The aim of the campaign was to reach out to a new audience via social channels. The result was a viral arcade game, based on the 80’s game ‘Space Invaders’, where fans could log in using their Facebook or Twitter channel and challenge friends to join in the game and beat their score, with a chance of winning signed artwork. The game was well supported by the artist’s social channels and music bloggers alike and contributed to an increase of sales via Amazon.
